Austin Minor is in his second season as a quality control coach working with the special teams for the Rockets.
Minor served as the special teams coordinator and running backs coach at Tusculum in 2018 and as a quality control coach for special teams at Eastern Kentucky in 2017. In 2016, Minor was a defensive quality control coach/specialist coordinator and assistant recruiting coordinator at Coffeyville Community College.
Minor began his college football career at Coffeyville C.C. in 2012-13 before transferring to Missouri Southern State. He won two letters at Missouri Southern and earned first-team all-league honors at long snapper in 2015.
Minor graduated from Baxter Springs (Kan.) High School, where he was a four-time letterwinner in football, earning all-conference honors as a senior in 2011. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Missouri Southern State in 2015.
