Addie Shane was promoted to the role of director of football operations in 2026. She had previously served as the program’s operations graduate assistant since 2023.
Shane began her career as a football operations student assistant at Bowling Green, her alma mater. She will graduate this spring with an MBA from Toledo.
Shane and her husband Zach Shane were married in June of 2025. Her father, Mike Ward, was a long-time college football coach, including two stints at Toledo from 2009-11 and 2016-19.
