AJ Garcia is in his third year as the assistant athletic trainer for the football program at the University of Toledo.Â
A 2015 graduate of the University of Miami, Garcia interned at NFL training camps with Tampa Bay (2013) and Miami (2014). He was a graduate assistant with the University of South Carolina, where he earned his master’s degree in 2017. He also worked at Mid-Carolina High School in 2016-17. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).Â
Garcia was born in Eidson, N.J. and grew up in Doylestown, Pa. He ran track and cross country in high school.
