  • Toledo outgained Bowling Green, 429-226, including 308-101 in the first half.
  • Senior quarterback Tucker Gleason completed 19-of-30 passes for 264 yards and one TD. He moved into 11th place on Toledo’s career passing yards list with 5,333 career yards, moving past Rocket legend and College Football Hall of Famer Chuck Ealey (5,275 from 1969-71).
  • Gleason’s moved into a tie for eighth all-time with Chris Wallace (1995-97) with his 44th touchdown toss.
  • Junior Vandeross caught six passes for 100 yards, giving him 170 receptions for his career.
  • Vandeross’ 100 receiving yards gives him 2,119 for his career and moves him into 14th place ahead of Nick Moore on Toledo’s career list. He also secured his third game this season and eighth game of his career with at least 100 yards receiving
  • Senior running back Chip Trayanum rushed for 125 yards and one touchdown on 27 carries, his third game as a Rocket over 100 yards. He now has seven rushing touchdowns on the season and has rushing touchdowns in five consecutive games. Trayanum is the first Rocket running back with rushing touchdowns in five straight contests since Kareem Hunt in 2015.
  • Senior tight end Jacob Peterson caught his first touchdown pass as a Rocket, a 17-yarder in the second quarter. It was the eighth touchdown reception of his career.
  • Junior linebacker K’Von Sherman led Toledo with a career-high 12 tackles. He also added 3.0 tackles for loss.
