  • Attendance for the game was 29,697, the 14th-largest home crowd in school history and the most since 2016 (30,147 vs. BGSU).
  • Junior quarterback Tucker Gleason returned to the lineup after missing one game due to injury, completing 30-of-45 passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns, setting his career marks for completions and attempts. His 320 yards was nine short of his all-time high. Gleason also rushed for 26 yards on six carries and a rushing score.
  • Jerjuan Newton's two TD receptions gives him 31 for his career, breaking Cody Thompson's (2014-18) Toledo career mark of 30.
  • Newton also set his career high for receptions (9) and receiving yards (164).
  • Newton's 64-yard TD reception in the third quarter was the longest of his career.
  • Wide receiver Junior Vandeross set his career high with 11 receptions, a game-high. He also finished with 106 receiving yards, eclipsing the century mark for the second time this year.
  • Dylan Cunanan's 54-yard field goal in the second quarter is the second-longest in Toledo history. The record is 55 set by Todd France vs. Western Michigan in 2001.
  • Toledo was led defensively by Daniel Bolden and Maxen Hook with 10 tackles, with Hook reaching double-digit stops for the fourth time this year.
