Toledo vs. Illinois

• Toledo is now 0-1 vs. Illinois and 6-16 against Big Ten opponents.
• Toledo outgained Illinois, 413-374.
• Junior quarterback Dequan Finn completed 20-of-36 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 75 yards and one TD on 20 carries.
• Sophomore Junior Vandeross III had a career-high six receptions for 80 yards.
• Senior Dallas Gant led the Rockets with nine tackles, the sixth time in his career he has led UT in tackles.
• Junior Maxen Hook had an interception in the third quarter, the third of his career. 
• Senior Terrance Taylor led the Rockets with 3.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks, gaining his first sack since 2021 after missing much of last season due to injury.
• Junior Luke Pawlak made all three of his field-goal attempts, including a career-long 44-yarder.
• Toledo ran 44 offensive plays in the first half to just 24 for Illinois.
