- Sophomore quarterback Carter Bradley completed 18-of-28Â passes for 221Â yards and one touchdown. Redshirt freshman Dequan Finn rushed for 24 yards, including a 26-yard touchdown run with 1:35 remaining that gave the Rockets a 29-24 lead.
- Bryant Koback rushed for 114 yards on 21 attempts. He now has 2,792 career rushing yards to move past Casey McBeth (2,719 yards from 1991-94) into eighth place on Toledo’s all-time list.
- Sophomore wide receiver Devin Maddox set career highs with nine receptions and 135 receiving yards, including a 66-yard play in the first quarter.
- Toledo’s defense racked up six sacks, five passes broken up and forced three turnovers.
- Junior linebacker Dyontae Johnson led the Rockets with a career-tying 10 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss. He was credited with one quarterback hurry.
- Sophomore Chris McDonald’s second quarter pick-six was the first interception of his career.
- Junior Terrance Taylor had five tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks. His three tackles for loss tied his career high set vs. Ball State on Nov. 28, 2020.
- Senior punter Bailey Flint averaged 45.4 yards on seven punts, including boots of 68 and 57 yards in the first half. His 68-yarder went out at the nine-yard line. He also pinned the Irish at their own four-yard line with a 35-yard kick in the second quarter.
- Sophomore Thomas Cluckey hit on field goals of 31, 32 and 23 yards.
