  • Junior Bryant Koback rushed for 135 yards, and now has 1,274 yards this season. He has rushed for over 100 yards in five-straight games and 13 times in his career.
  • Koback now has 3,900 career rushing yards, trailing only Kareem Hunt (4,945), Chester Taylor (4,849) and Wasean Tait (4,338).
  • Koback also rushed for two touchdowns, giving him 45 for his career, which surpassed Kareem Hunt (44 from 2013-16) and now sits second on Toledo’s all-time list. Chester Taylor holds the all-time record with 56 from 1998-2001.
  • Redshirt freshman quarterback Dequan Finn completed 16-of-26 passes for 257 yards and four touchdowns. In the fourth quarter, redshirt freshman Tucker Gleason completed 3-of-6 passes for 34 yards, while sophomore Carter Bradley completed 2-of-3 for 10 yards.
  • Junior linebacker Jamal Hines led Toledo with seven tackles and a career-high 2.5 sacks.
  • Toledo kept alive its streak of 12 straight seasons without a losing record. The Rockets have not had a losing season since 2009.
  • The Rockets lead their all-time series vs. Akron by a 13-9 margin.
  • Head Coach Jason Candle is undefeated in four meetings vs. the Zips.
