  • With its sixth win, Toledo became bowl eligible for the 11th straight year – every year since 2010, excluding 2020 in which bowl eligibility requirements were waived due to COVID (Toledo was 4-2 in 2020).
  • Junior Bryant Koback rushed for 203 yards, the third time he has rushed for over 200 yards in a game. He now has 1,139 yards for the season, the second time he has rushed for over 1,000 yards in a season (1187 yards in 2019). He has rushed for over 100 yards in each of the past four games and 12 times in his career.
  • Koback now has 3,765 career rushing yards, passing Terry Swanson (3,601 yards from 2014-17) for fourth in Toledo history. The all-time leader is Kareem Hunt (2013-16) with 4,945 yards.
  • Koback also rushed for four touchdowns, giving him 43 for his career, which is third on Toledo’s all-time list, one shy of second-place Kareem Hunt (44 from 2013-16).
  • Senior cornerback Samuel Womack had three pass breakups, giving him 15 for the season, tying the school record set by Desmond Marrow in 2011 and matched by Womack in 2019. He has 40 for his career, adding on to his total for the most in Toledo history.
  • Redshirt freshman quarterback Dequan Finn completed 10-of-14 passes for 150 yards and one touchdown.
  • Senior linebacker Jonathan Jones led Toledo with a career-high 13 tackles.
