  • Bryant Koback rushed for 91 yards, becoming the eighth Rocket to rush for 3,000 yards in a career. He now has 3,081 career rushing yards and needs 39 yards to pass Jalen Parmele (3,119 yards from 1991-94) to move into seventh place on Toledo’s all-time list. He also scored one touchdown, giving him 35 for his career, tying him with Joe Schwartz (1970-72) for fourth all-time.
  • Koback’s 75-yard TD reception in the second quarter was the longest of his career. His 40-yard TD run, also in the second quarter, was his second-longest rush of the season. His longest was a 67-yard run at Notre Dame on Sept. 11.
  • Redshirt freshman Dequan Finn connected on 10-of-17 passes for 188 yards, all of which are career-high totals.
  • Junior outside linebacker Dyontae Johnson and freshman safety Maxen Hook both had a game-high 13 tackles, a new career best for both players. Senior linebacker Jonathan Jones (12 tackles), junior defensive end Desjuan Johnson (11 tackles) and outside linebacker Jamal Hines (10 tackles) all had double-digit stops as well.
  • Toledo’s defense registered eight tackles for loss on Saturday, the fourth time this season they have had at least eight TFL in a game
  • Junior nickelback Chris McDonald grabbed his second interception of the season in the first quarter.
