- Redshirt freshman quarterback Dequan Finn made his debut as a starter, connecting on 15-of-32 passes for 208 yards. Finn also rushed 43 yards and two TDs on 25 carries.
- Bryant Koback rushed for 87 yards, now has 3,161 career rushing yards, passing Jalen Parmelee (3,119 yards from 1991-94) to move into seventh place on Toledo’s all-time list.
- Bryce Mitchell’s 76-yard kickoff return in the third quarter was the longest by a Rocket since Diontae Johnson returned one 98 yards for a touchdown vs. Nevada on Sept. 22, 2018.
- Sophomore Thomas Cluckey hit a 50-yard field goal in the fourth quarter, the longest of his career.
- Freshman safety Maxen Hooks led the Rockets with 11 tackles. He has had 24 tackles in the last two games.
- This was Toledo’s first overtime game since Oct. 26, 2019 when the Rockets beat Eastern Michigan, 37-34.
