- Eli Peters completed 30-of-46 passes for a career-high 339 yards and one touchdown. He completed 10 of his first 11 passes, and completed passes to 10 different receivers. His attempt and completion totals were also career highs.
- Bryant Koback led the rushing attack with 78 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries. He now has 2,256 career rushing yards, moving him to 16th on UT’s all-time list ahead of Mike Alston, Sr., who had 2,180 yards from 1976-79.
- Redshirt freshman Micah Kelly added a career-high 69 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.
- Koback led 10 different Rockets who caught at least one pass with a career-high seven receptions for 61 yards.
- Junior Isaiah Winstead caught a career-long 55-yard bomb on the game’s opening play, the longest play of the season so far for the Rockets.
- Toledo’s 99-yard drive in the third quarter was the first time they went that far in a drive since Oct. 17, 2009 vs. Northern Illinois.
- Junior Dyontae Johnson led the Rockets with a career-high nine tackles. He has led the team in tackles in each of the first two games.
- The Rockets have outscored opponents 45-14 in the first half so far this season.
