- This was the first game ever between Toledo and Murray State. Toledo is now 25-2 vs. FCS opponents.
- This was Toledo’s first shutout in 228 games since Oct. 14, 2000 when Toledo shut out Marshall 42-0 in the Glass Bowl.
- The shutout also broke a 156-game streak for Murray State, which was last shut out on Sept. 24, 2005 at Illinois State.
- Senior quarterback Mitchell Guadagni connected on 18-of-25 passes for a career-high 266 yards and three TDs.
- Junior tight end Drew Rosi caught his first career TD pass, an 11-yarder in the second quarter. Rosi alo set career bests in receptions (5) and receiving yards (84).
- Junior Bryce Mitchell’s 66-yard reception in the second quarter was the longest of his career. It was also the longest completion of Guadagni’s career.
- Senior linebacker Jordan Fisher grabbed his first career interception, halting an MSU drive in the second quarter. Fisher and DeDarallo Blue were co-leaders in tackles for the Rockets with eight.
- Senior Desmond Phillips caught a 43-yard TD in the third quarter, his first touchdown reception since Oct. 26, 2017 vs. Ball State.
- Junior cornerback Samuel Womack pulled in his second career interception, and his first since his freshman year in 2017.
- Redshirt freshman quarterback Carter Bradley threw his first career TD pass, a 55-yard strike to Danzel McKinley-Lewis in the third quarter.
- True freshman Micah Kelly scored his first collegiate touchdown, a 42-yard run in the fourth quarter.
- Freshman Evan Davis hit a field goal of 40 yards. He is now 2-of-2 on the season.
- Redshirt freshman Devin Maddox caught his first career pass, an eight-yard TD in the second quarter.
