  • The victory gives Toledo a 3-2 record in MAC play and keeps the Rockets alive in the West Division race. The Rockets are a half-game behind Western Michigan and Central Michigan (4-2) and tied with Ball State (3-2). Toledo and CMU meet in the season finale in Mount Pleasant on Nov. 29.
  • With the win, Toledo (6-3) becomes bowl eligible for the 10th-consecutive season.
  • This was the fifth consecutive victory for the Rockets over Kent State and the 12th straight win in the Glass Bowl. The last Golden Flash win in Toledo came in 1977, a span of 42 years. Toledo leads the series, 27-21.
  • Toledo racked up 483 yards of total offense, including 289 yards on the ground.
  • Junior QB Eli Peters completed 15-of-25 passes for 194 yards and one TD. Redshirt freshman Carter Bradley came on in relief on the Rockets’ final drive of the game.
  • In his eight career games as a starter, Peters has led the Rockets to a 6-2 record.
  • Junior Shakif Seymour rushed for a career-high 175 yards. It was his first 100-yard game of the season and fourth of his career.
  • Sophomore Bryant Koback rushed for 67 yards to give him 1,052 for the season, the 16th Rocket ever to crack the 1000-yard mark. Koback left the game in the second quarter with an injury.
