Ball State Post-Game Notes

  • The loss snapped a five-game winning streak in the all-time series for Toledo, which now holds a 24-20-1 edge over the Cardinals.
  • Junior cornerback Jordan Hendy grabbed his first career interception as a Rocket in the second quarter.
  • Redshirt freshman Carter Bradley started his first game at quarterback in place of the injured Mitchell Guadagni. Bradley was 14-for-34 for 137 yards, completing passes to 11 different players.
  • Freshman quarterback DeQuan Finn saw action in the fourth quarter, completing two of his four passes for 25 yards and rushing for 28 yards on five carries. He led the Rockets on a 14-play, 80-yard scoring drive.
  • Senior running back Ronnie Jones scored his first career touchdown on a 44-yard run in the third quarter. He then scored his second touchdown on a one-yard rush in the fourth quarter.
  • Freshman cornerback Chris McDonald tied a career high with six tackles.
