Toledo Post Game Notes
  • The loss was the first since 2009 vs. Bowling Green and now puts the series record at an even 40-40-4.This was the 100th anniversary of the first game between Toledo and BG in 1919.
  • Junior CB Samuel Womack intercepted his second pass of the season in the second quarter. He entered the game leading the nation with 11 pass breakups. He also added seven tackles on the day.
  • Quarterback Mitchell Guadagni completed 17-of-20 passes for 194 yards and one TD. He left the game in the third quarter following a sack.
  • Redshirt freshman Carter Bradley came in for Guadagni and completed 4-of-8 passes for 34 yards. Junior Eli Bradley entered the game in Toledo’s final drive, going 2-of-7 for 33 yards.
  • Bryant Koback caught a career-best four passes, including his second TD pass of the season.
  • Desmond Phillips led the Rockets with six receptions.
  • Drew Rosi caught three passes for 48 yards, his most receptions since he grabbed five vs. Murray State on Sept. 14.
  • Field position hurt the Rockets. Three times Toledo started drives inside its own five-yard line (from the one, two and four-yard lines).
