* With the loss, the Rockets conclude the year with a 25-9 overall record. The setback also stops UT’s season-high eight-game winning streak.
* With the loss, Toledo falls to 3-8 (.273) all-time in the NCAA Championships. The Rockets have not advanced to the second round of the post-season event since 1996.
*Â Seniors Janice Monakana and Sophie Reecher wrapped up their respective UT careers with 77 overall victories over the last four years, including 43 league wins. The duo was part of two teams that advanced to the post season (Postseason WNIT in 2015 and NCAA Championships in 2017).
*Â Sophomore Mikaela Boyd led UT with 11 points and a team-tying best six rebounds in a game-high 35 minutes. Boyd scored in double figures for a team-high 23rd occasion this year.
* Freshman Mariella Santucci finished with 10 points, three boards, a team-high four helpers and a contest-best four steals. Santucci registered at least 10 points in five of the last six games. Â
* Sophomore Kaayla McIntyre scored in double figures for the first time in the last six games, tallying 10 points a squad-tying best six caroms. McIntyre has scored at least 10 points on 16 occasions this season. Â
