UT leads its all-time series against Bowling Green by an 89-80 margin.
Toledo is now 2-4 in overtime games this season. The Rockets’ six overtime games are a school record and tied for first nationally with Indiana State.
The Rockets are now 7-5 when leading at halftime and 9-3 when leading with five minutes remaining.
UT’s record fell to 9-5 when shooting 45 percent or better from the field and 5-10 when its opponent shoots better than 45 percent.
Toledo’s 14 three-point field goals are its second most in a MAC game in school history and its most since hitting a school-record 17 treys vs. Wright State on Dec. 22, 2003.
UT is now 7-4 when scoring 80 or more points and 1-8 when allowing 80 or more points.
Williams tied his season high with two steals and registered his 14th 20-point outing of season and 27th of his career.
Taylor’s 25 points matched his most in a conference contest and gave him seven 20-point outings this season. He also tied a career high with 10 field goals made.
Sophomore guard Jaelan Sanford registered his fifth 20-point outing of the season. He tied his career high with nine field goals and established a new career best with 15 shot attempts.
Senior guard Jordan Lauf’s 50 minutes played rank as the third-most in school history.
