  • With his second quarter touchdown pass to Diontae Johnson, Logan Woodside tied Bruce Gradkowski atop Toledo’s all-time career passing touchdowns list with 85.
  • Toledo forced three fumbles on Wednesday night. Coming into the game, the Rockets had forced two fumbles in the previous nine games.
  • Freshman Tycen Anderson recorded his first career interception in the second quarter. The Toledo defense has now forced 11 interceptions this season.
  • Diontae Johnson finished with nine receptions for 144 yards and one touchdown, his fifth 100-yard receiving performance of the season.
  • Johnson also moved into a tie for sixth place all-time in single-season receiving touchdowns and eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards this season, the 11th 1,000-yard receiving season in school history.
  • For the first time since Sept. 2, 2016, a streak of 21 games, a Toledo running back lost a fumble. Art Thompkins lost a fumble in the first quarter following a 10-yard reception. UT running backs had accumulated 781 touches between lost fumbles.
  • For the second time this season, Shakif Seymour led UT in rushing (Aug. 31 vs. Elon, 102 yards on 11 carries). He had 77 yards on 11 carries against the Bobcats.
  • Olasunkanmi Adeniyi recorded 10 tackles, tying his career-high total that he set last week against Northern Illinois.
  • Kahlil Robinson also tied his career-high in tackles, tallying nine against Ohio.
  • This was Toledo’s sixth game this season forcing multiple turnovers. The Rockets recovered two fumbles and had one interception.
