Post-Game Notes
- Toledo is now 8-1, 5-0 in MAC play, giving the Rockets sole possession of first place in the MAC West Division.
- Toledo moves to 31-14 all-time vs. Northern Illinois. It was the first UT victory over the Huskies in the Glass Bowl since 2009, a streak of three straight home losses.
- Toledo outgained NIU, 527-430, including a 361-245 edge in passing yards.
- Senior Logan Woodside completed 23-of-31 passes for 361 yards, giving him 9,288 yards for his career and making him Toledo’s career passing yardage leader. Woodside broke the record of 9,225 yards set by Bruce Gradkowski (2002-05). It was the fifth-most yards Woodside has thrown for in a single game in his Rocket career.
- Senior Terry Swanson rushed for 116 yards, giving him 3,082 for his career, just the seventh Rocket to crack the 3,000-yard barrier. Swanson ranks seventh on Toledo’s all-time list.
- Swanson also set career high in rushing attempts (29) and touchdowns (3).
- Sophomore Diontae Johnson set a career high with 10 receptions for 166 yards. It is the fourth time that Johnson has gone over 100 yards receiving this season.
- Sophomore tight end Jordan Fisher caught a career best six passes for 102 yards.
- Junior defensive end Olasunkanmi Ademiyi recorded a career-high 10 tackles.
- Senior cornerback Trevon Mathis picked off two passes. Before tonight, he had three interceptions in his entire career.
