  • After Wednesday’s 66-37 victory, Toledo has now won eight straight games against Bowling Green, bringing the all-time series to 39-39-4. The 66 points for Toledo are the most scored by a team in the rivalry and the 103 combined points are also a series record.
  • The 66 points are the most for the Rockets since Nov. 8, 2011 in the 66-63 win over Western Michigan. It’s the most points Toledo has ever scored in a road game (previous high was 65 at Eastern Michigan on Sept. 7, 2002).
  • Logan Woodside finished with 232 passing yards and two touchdowns. In the third quarter, his 45-yard TD pass to Jon’Vea Johnson gave him 86 touchdowns for his career, passing Bruce Gradkowski on Toledo’s all-time touchdown pass list.  
  • Shakif Seymour had 67 rushing yards and five touchdowns on Wednesday night. He tied the school record with five rushing touchdowns, a feat that has been accomplished four times and was last achieved by Kareem Hunt in the 2015 GoDaddy.com Bowl. He also tied the MAC record for rushing touchdowns in a game.
  • Seymour had three rushing touchdowns in the first half, the 27th a Rocket has had three touchdowns in a single half.
  • Terry Swanson finished with a career-high 192 yards on the ground, passing Jalen Parmele for sixth place on Toledo’s all-time rushing list. Swanson now has 3,283 rushing yards for his career and his 14th 100-yard rushing game.
  • Diontae Johnson finished with 75 yards, three receptions and a touchdown. He has 10 touchdown receptions on the season and he is now the sixth player in school history to have at least 10 receiving touchdowns in a season.
  • Art Thompkins had an 88-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, the longest rush of the season for Toledo and the fifth-longest rush in UT history. Thompkins finished with 114 rushing yards, a new career-high.
  • The 637 yards of total offense mark the third time Toledo has gone over 600 yards in a game this season.
  • Toledo piled up 389 yards on the ground, the most in a game this season and the fourth 300-plus yard rushing game for the Rockets this season.
  • Freshman walk-on Sam Womack recorded his first career interception in the fourth quarter.
  • Senior running back Brad Smith earned his first career rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.
  • UT had four sacks against the Falcons, tying a season-high (Oct. 21 vs. Akron). Willie Ross (two), Olasunkanmi Adeniyi, and Marquise Moore had the sacks for the Rockets. Ross’s two sacks were the first two of his career.
