Post-Game Notes vs. Central Michigan
• The Rockets are 2-5 when shooting under 45 percent from the field and 2-7 when posting a lower shooting mark than their opponent.
• Toledo scored a season-high 53 points in the second half.
• UT was outrebounded for just the fourth time (1-3 win-loss mark) in 17 games this season.
• The Rockets are 1-5 when allowing 80 or more points and 6-2 when scoring 80 or more points
• Senior guard Jonathan Williams scored a career-high 30 points, a scoring total that was the highest by a Rocket this season. He also set career marks for FGs made (12), FGs attempted (26) and three-point FGs attempted (11).
• Williams has led UT in scoring in nine straight games and has scored 20 or more points in nine of his last 10 contests. The only game he didn’t reach that plateau was a 19-point showing at Western Michigan (Jan. 10).
• Williams ranks 13th on UT’s all-time scoring list with 1,487 points and is eight points away from moving into the Rockets’ Top 10 scoring leaders. Williams’ 21.1 ppg is the highest by a Rocket for a season since Craig Thames averaged 21.8 ppg in the 1995-96 campaign.
• Senior Steve Taylor, Jr. grabbed 16 rebounds (for his ninth-straight double-digit rebound outing) and has led UT in rebounding in a team-high 13 contests. Taylor’s 11.9 rpg is the highest by a Rocket for a season since Casey Shaw averaged 10.0 rpg in the 1997-98 campaign.
• Sophomore guard Jaelan Sanford tied his career high with eight three-point FGs attempts and his season high with three treys. He has scored in double digits in six of his last seven games.
Senior guard Jordan Lauf tied his career high with 13 points and dished out a career-best five assists.
