Post-Game Notes vs. Marshall

  • The Rockets’ 105 points were the second-most points Toledo has scored in a defeat. UT lost to Central Michigan, 109-107, in five overtimes on March 4, 1978.
  • The 216 points scored by Toledo and Marshall are tied for second most in a game in school history, trailing only the 224 points scored in a 136-88 Rocket win over Hillsdale on December 2, 1967.
  • Toledo’s 53.4 FG% was a season high, just barely ahead of its 52.6 mark vs. UNC-Wilmington.
  • The Rockets tallied season highs for points in a first half (44), points in a second half (49) and second-half field-goal percentage (57.6).
  • Marshall’s 44 first-half points and 60.7 FG% in the first half were season highs by a UT opponent.
  • The Rockets’ 11 three-point field goals, 28 three-point field-goal attempts and 39.3 3PTFG% were season highs.
  • Marshall’s nine treys and 47.4 3PTFG% were the highest by a UT opponent this season.
  • Senior guard Jonathan Williams moved into an 18th-place tie with Bob Gerber (1939-42) on Toledo’s all-time scoring list with 1,319 career points. He is just nine behind Jay Gast (1981-85) and 10 behind Jim Swaney (1976-80).
  • Senior forward Steve Taylor Jr. has scored in double digits in all 10 games this season and he is tied for the national lead with eight double-doubles.
  • Sophomore forward Nate Navigato scored a season-high 14 points to give the Rockets seven different individuals who have scored in double digits this season.
  • Redshirt freshman center Luke Knapke posted his third double-digit scoring outing with 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting. He is averaging 6.6 ppg with a team-best 63.4 FG%.
  • Senior center Zach Garber tallied season highs for points (7) and assists (2).
  • Junior guard Lucas Antunez registered season highs for points (3), free throws made (3), free-throw attempts (4) and minutes played (17).
