• With tonight’s loss, Toledo (9-3, 6-2 MAC) finishes the season in second place in the MAC West Division. UT has finished in first or second place in the West in six of the past seven years.
• Despite the loss, Toledo still leads the series with Western Michigan, 41-30.
• Senior RB Kareem Hunt rushed for 200 yards, the 27th 100-yard game in his career, tying the school mark held by Chester Taylor (1998-2001). It was also his third 200-yard rushing game.
• Hunt now has 4,825 career rushing yards, second all-time at UT and just 24 yards off the record held by Taylor (4,849 from 1998-2001).
• Tight end Michael Roberts caught three touchdowns, giving him 15 TD catches for the season, breaking the school record of 14 set by Lance Moore in 2004. Roberts’ 15 TDs are the most of any tight end in the country this season (the next closest is seven).
• Logan Woodside added to his nation-leading total by throwing three touchdown passes. He leads the nation with 43 touchdown passes, six more than the No. 2 QB (Washington’s Jake Browning – 37).
• Junior Cody Thompson totaled 44 receiving yards vs. WMU. He now has 1,170 receiving yards, the fourth-highest total in a single season in school history and just 25 yards short of breaking the school record held by Lance Moore ( 1,194 in 2003).
• Toledo is now 9-16 all-time against teams in the Top 25.
