Post-Game Notes vs. Youngstown State

• UT won its home opener for the sixth consecutive season.
• The overtime contest was the first for the Rockets since a 76-75 home loss to Kent State on Feb. 13, 2015. Toledo has posted a 4-5 (.444) win-loss mark in overtime games during Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk’s seven-year tenure.
• The Rockets’ 103 points were their most vs. a Division I opponent in Savage Arena since a 103-66 win over Wright State on Dec. 23, 2003. The last time UT scored 103 points on the road was a 103-99 win in regulation vs. Stony Brook on Nov. 22, 2013.
• The 201 points scored by the Rockets and Penguins were tied for fourth most ever in a game in Savage Arena with the 73 field goals made the sixth-most in facility history.
• YSU guard Cameron Morse’s 40 points ranks sixth in Savage Arena history and marked the first 40-point outing since Austin Peay’s Bubba Wells tallied 42 vs. Air Force on Dec. 29, 1995. Miami’s Ron Harper holds the scoring record with 45 vs. Ball State in the 1985 MAC Tournament.

• Taylor’s 23 rebounds are tied for seventh most in Toledo’s 102-year history and are the most by a Rocket since Tim Schirra grabbed 22 boards vs. East Carolina on Dec. 19, 1992. The last UT player to have 23 or boards was Doug Hess’ school record of 27 vs. Marshall on Jan. 3, 1971.
