Post-Game Notes at Wright State
• Toledo leads the all-time series vs. Wright State by a 6-5 margin and snapped a two-game losing streak in the series with its victory.
• The Rockets held a 35-30 advantage on the boards and has held the edge in the rebounding department over their opponents in each of their first three games.
• Toledo posted its best shooting mark of the season with its 52.5 FG%.
• Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk evened his career record vs. Wright State at 9-9 in his first game vs. the Raiders as the Rockets’ head coach.
• Sophomore guard Jaelan Sanford registered career highs for points (23), field goals (9), field-goal attempts (13) and minutes (36).
• Sanford has blocked a shot in each of Toledo’s first three games and leads the Rockets with four rejections.
• Senior guard Jonathan Williams registered his 15th 20-point outing of his career and also recorded a career-high nine free-throw attempts.
• Williams moved into 29th place on UT’s all-time scoring list with 1,194 points.
• Senior forward Steve Taylor Jr. posted his second-straight double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. He ranks second on the team with 16.7 ppg and leads the team with 13.3 rpg and 4.0 apg.
• Senior guard Jordan Lauf tied his career high with three assists and played a season-best 30 minutes. He also sank both of his free throws and 9-of-9 from the charity stripe this season.
• Redshirt freshman Luke Knapke grabbed a season-best four boards in a season-high 16 minutes.
