Post-Game Notes at Saint Joseph's
• UT saw its three-game winning streak in season openers come to an end, and the Rockets now have a 54-48 all-time record in season lidlifters.
• Toledo held a 38-32 advantage on the boards with 11 of its rebounds coming on the offensive glass. The Rockets averaged 9.6 offensive rebounds per game last year.
• The Rockets converted 12-of-16 free throws (75.0 percent) after posting a 74.7 FT% last year. UT has ranked first or second in the MAC in FT% in each of the last five seasons.
• Senior guard Jonathan Williams scored in double digits for the 60th time as a Rocket with 18 points. He now is in 32nd place on UT’s all-time scoring list with 1,147 points.
• Williams and senior guard Jordan Lauf each played in their 100th game in a Rocket uniform. Senior center Zach Garber will play in his 100th game vs. Youngstown State on Tuesday.
• Senior forward Steve Taylor Jr. tallied 14 points, seven rebounds and a team-high three assists in his first game as a Rocket. Taylor sat out the 2015-16 campaign after transferring from Marquette.
• Junior guard Daniel Dzierzawski scored 11 of his 13 points in the second half and ranked third on the team with four rebounds in his first game at UT. Dzierzawski played for the last two years at Moberley Area (MO) Community College.
