Fans can watch the 2026-27 squad prior to Rockets' Homecoming Game vs. Buffalo
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's basketball team will hold an open practice on Saturday, Oct. 10 in Savage Arena prior to the football team's Homecoming game at 3:30 p.m. vs. Buffalo. The team will practice from 12:00-1:30 p.m.
To attend the practice, fans should park in Lot 1 or Lot 2. To park in lots next to Savage Arena, fans will need to have a football parking pass.
Toledo opens its 2026-27 season on Monday, Nov. 2 when it visits Arkansas State in the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge.

Toledo registered its ninth-straight winning season last year with a 19-15 record under Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk. The 2025-26 campaign saw Toledo make a run to the MAC Championship Game after earning a top-four seed in the tournament for a sixth-straight season. The Rockets defeated Bowling Green (77-76) in the quarterfinals and UMass (77-67) in the semifinals before falling in the championship game to Akron (79-76).
The Rockets have not experienced a losing season since Kowalczyk's first year in the 2010-11 season and have won five Mid-American Conference titles during his tenure.
