Toledo Women Ranked No. 25 in National Preseason Poll

Rockets receive second-highest preseason USTFCCCA ranking in program history
TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's cross country team is ranked No. 25 in the USTFCCCA National Preseason Poll that was announced on Tuesday. The ranking marks the fifth time in program history the Rockets have been ranked in the preseason poll. UT's best preseason ranking ever is No. 23 in the 2012 season.
Toledo is ranked No. 2 in the Great Lakes Region with No. 6 Notre Dame the top-ranked school in the region.
Defending national champion NC State is ranked first in the poll and is followed by New Mexico, Iowa State, BYU and Oregon.
The Rockets will open their season on Friday, Sept. 11 when they compete in Michigan State's Spartan Invitational. MSU is receiving votes in the national poll and is ranked third in the Great Lakes Region.
