Rockets Finish Road Schedule at Buffalo, Western Michigan

Toledo begins road trip against Bulls on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team finishes up its road slate in the 2025-26 regular season against Buffalo on Saturday, Feb. 28 and at Western Michigan on Wednesday, Feb. 4. Tipoff against the Bulls will be at 4:30 and against the Broncos will be at 7:00, both on ESPN+.
The Rockets (14-12, 8-7 MAC) fell to Central Michigan, 68-64 at home on Wednesday night, after a late rally by the Chippewas. Junior Ella Weaver led with 16 points and knocked down three triples, while Kendall Carruthers and Patricia Anumgba each supplied 12 points. The Rockets will clinch a spot in the Mid-American Conference Tournament on Saturday with either a win over Buffalo, or a loss by Eastern Michigan to Northern Illinois.
The Bulls (2-25, 0-15 MAC) fell to Western Michigan, 58-43 at home on Wednesday. Saturday will be the Bulls' Senior Day.

The Broncos (9-17, 5-10 MAC) will play UMass on Saturday before Wednesday's matchup with the Rockets in Kalamazoo. WMU is two games behind Kent State for the final MAC Tournament spot.

Opening Tips
- Toledo will play back-to-back road games for the fifth time this season and fourth time in MAC play. Last road trip, the Rockets picked up a 60-52 victory over third-place UMass but fell to Bowling Green.
- UT can clinch a fifth-straight MAC Tournament appearance on Saturday with a win or an Eastern Michigan loss.
- The Rockets will look to sweep both Buffalo and Western Michigan, having defeated UB, 79-46 on Dec. 31 and WMU, 59-46 on Jan. 10.
- The Rockets' defense has held seven MAC opponents under 55 points this season, and are 7-0 in such instances.
- Toledo comes into the week as one of the top rebounding teams in the league, out-rebounding 20 of its 26 opponents thus far, including in nine of its last 10.
