TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's volleyball team will host its lone exhibition match followed by a "Volleyball 101" event in Savage Arena on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 2:00 p.m. Admission for all fans is free. Donations of dry goods or snack bags for families at local hospitals will be accepted through the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwestern Ohio. Food items needed include individual bags of cookies, crackers and chips, mac and cheese cups, pudding cups and ramen noodles.
The Rockets will take on Findlay in their only exhibition match prior to the 2025 season. Following the conclusion of the match, fans can attend the Volleyball 101 event where they will have the chance to meet student-athletes and coaches. Fans will be able to learn about rules and strategy within the game of volleyball. Regardless of volleyball knowledge, fans will learn the basics of the game and can get in-depth analysis from coaches and student-athletes.
