TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's volleyball program has earned its 25th-straight AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced on Monday.

The AVCA honored more than 1,450 collegiate and high school volleyball teams who maintained a year-long grade-point average of at least a 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale.

Toledo, Bowling Green (25) and Indiana State (27) are the only three NCAA Division I schools that have won the AVCA Team Academic Award for at least 25-straight seasons.

The Rockets posted a 3.458 team GPA in the 2025 spring semester and placed eight student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC team last fall including returners Anna Alford, Macy Medors, Brooke Naniseni, Kayla Ozanich and Sierra Pertzborn.
