Play suspended with six holes remaining in second round
SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. – The Toledo men's golf team is tied for fourth place with approximately six holes remaining in Monday's second round of the Babygrande Donald Ross Collegiate at the Mid Pines Club in Southern Pines, N.C.. The Rockets have jumped up nine spots after finishing the opening round tied for 13th place.
Senior Jamie Butler has keyed the Rockets' improvement in the second round by shooting three-under par. Senior CJ van Wyk is at two-under par in the second round, while freshman Julius Lange is one-under par.
Chattanooga is currently in the lead at 10-under par, five shots in front of host George Mason. Seton Hall is in third place at even-par, with Toledo and Xavier tied for fourth place at five-over par.
The remainder of the tournament's second round and final round will be held tomorrow.
