Toledo Adds Three Transfers for 2025 Season

Kaitlyn Colvert, Emma Rhoades and Madelyn Rousseau all join the Rockets
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's soccer team announced the signings of Kaitlyn Colvert, Emma Rhoades and Madelyn Rousseau to the program as transfers for the 2025 season on Wednesday.
Colvert heads to Toledo from the University of Dayton, Rhoades comes from the University of Pittsburgh, while Rousseau previously attended Michigan State University. The Rockets' incoming transfers cover each position among field players. Colvert comes to Toledo as a defender, Rhoades in the midfield and Rousseau from the forward and midfield positions.
"All three student-athletes come from very competitive programs, and all fill a need for us," said Head Coach Mark Batman. "They all have the experience we need to put us in a position to compete for MAC championships. We are very excited about Emma, Kaitlyn and Mady joining our Rocket family."

Kaitlyn Colvert | Defender | 5'7" | Lewis Center, Ohio | Olentangy Orange | Dayton
Colvert played in 10 games for Dayton across two seasons and logged 153 minutes. She was named to the 2023-24 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll. She also competed for Ohio Premier at the club level. At Olentangy Orange, Colvert was a team captain and was named First-Team All-OCC as a senior.

Emma Rhoades | Midfield | 5'3" | Fenton, Mich. | Lake Fenton | Pittsburgh
Rhoades comes to Toledo after two years at Pitt, where she appeared in two games. She competed for Nationals GA for travel soccer. The Michigan native will major in information systems at Toledo.
Why Toledo? "I chose to attend the University of Toledo for its soccer program, its supportive staff, and its beautiful campus."
Madelyn Rousseau | Forward/Midfield | Windsor, Ont. | Assumption College Catholic | Michigan State
Rousseau played club soccer for Nationals Girls Academy where she was a 2023 national semifinalist and Mid-America Conference champion. She also competed for Tecumseh Soccer Club and Liverpool FC International Academy. She will major in bioengineering at Toledo.
Why Toledo? "I chose the University of Toledo for its welcoming community and supportive environment. I know the team's commitment to excellence will help me grow both on and off the field."
