Teamworks General Manager (GM) will enable Toledo Athletics to enhance support of student-athletes in changing landscape of college athletics
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo Athletics has expanded its partnership with Teamworks to include Teamworks General Manager (GM), a comprehensive technology solution designed to streamline student-athlete support, roster planning and NIL licensing management, Vice President and Director of Athletics Bryan B. Blair announced today.
With Teamworks GM, Toledo Athletics will be able to leverage a powerful set of tools designed to improve efficiency, transparency, and compliance. By unifying roster management and total student-athlete disbursement visibility in one place, Teamworks GM will enable Toledo administrators and coaches to make better-informed decisions and ensure that student-athletes are positioned for success both on and off the field.
"We are excited to become an Elite partner with Teamworks and add the Teamworks GM system," said Vice President and Director of Athletics Bryan B. Blair. "The world of college athletics is changing swiftly and dramatically. Simultaneously, managing rosters, NIL licensing and the transfer portal represents an exciting new era of college athletics that requires a refined strategy and new tools to manage. We feel the addition of Teamworks GM will help us ensure that our resources are fully focused on supporting our student-athletes' success, and will help give us a competitive edge in this new era of college athletics."
"We are proud to see Toledo expand its use of the Teamworks ecosystem," said Wes French, Director and GM of Teamworks General Manager. "As one of our ELITE partners, Toledo sets the standard for integrating innovative solutions to create sustainable success in collegiate athletics. We are excited to support them as they implement the General Manager to take their programs to the next level."
Toledo first partnered with Teamworks in 2018, becoming the first Mid-American Conference school to do so. Since then, Toledo has been one of the nation's leaders in identifying innovative ways to support its student-athletes through NIL and other related initiatives.
