Toledo Men’s Cross Country Earns 3.116 GPA During Fall Semester

Two Rockets are named to Fall 2024 President’s List

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's cross country team earned a 3.116 grade point average throughout the 2024 fall semester.

Junior Max Matolin and senior Joshuah Taylor each earned a 4.0 GPA to take a spot on the President's List for the term.

Seniors Geoff Howles and Dennis Mutai were named to the Dean's List for the semester alongside sophomore Peter McMahon.

Last month, Matolin, Taylor, Howles and McMahon earned nods to the Academic All-MAC Team.

The athletic department recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.368 in the fall semester, the Rockets' third-highest GPA ever for a fall semester. Toledo student-athletes have now recorded a GPA of 3.3 or higher in each of the past 11 semesters.

Other highlights from this past semester include:
56 student-athletes (15%) earned President's List honors with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
173 student-athletes (45%) earned a spot on the Dean's List by garnering at least a 3.50 GPA.
296 out of 385 (77%) total student-athletes made the Honor Roll by securing a 3.00 GPA or higher.
