Rockets to compete four times in Toledo in regular season
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's swimming & diving program has announced its 2024-25 meet schedule, featuring four competitions in the Glass City, first-year Head Coach Jacy Dyer announced on Tuesday.

Toledo will compete in five dual meets, a two-day tri-meet and two multi-team events as part of its regular-season schedule. The Rockets will face five Mid-American Conference opponents in their lead up to the 2025 MAC Championships.

""We are so excited to get this season started," said Dyer. "In addition to our strong returners, we have a class of 10 incoming freshmen who will make an immediate impact on this program. We're looking forward to our schedule and competing against some high-quality teams. We can't wait to see what our team can do and how they can embrace change this season."

The Rockets will begin the season on Friday, Oct. 11 with a dual meet at Ohio, before heading to Fort Myers, Fla. for the Eagle Fall Invite on Oct. 18-19. The Eagle Fall Invite will include Toledo, FGCU, Georgia Southern, the University of Tampa and North Florida.

Toledo will begin its home schedule on Nov. 8 with a dual meet against Indiana State. The Rockets will then finish 2024 at the Magnus Cup in Cleveland on Nov. 21-23.

In January, the Rockets will open the month with home dual meets against Marshall on Jan. 10 and Miami on Jan. 11. Toledo will then head to Ypsilanti to compete against Eastern Michigan on Jan. 17.

The Rockets will close the regular season in a two-day, three-team competition against Bowling Green and Buffalo on Jan. 31-Feb. 1. The first day of competition will be held at Bowling Green, while the second day will take place at UT. The Feb. 1 meet will also mark Toledo's swimming & diving Senior Day.

The 2025 MAC Championships will be held on Feb. 26-March 1 in Buffalo, N.Y. In postseason competition, qualifying student athletes will compete at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships (TBD) and the CSCAA National Invitational Championships in Ocala, Fla (March 13-15).

The Women's NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship will be held March 19-22 in Federal Way, Wash.

Prior to the regular season, Toledo will host an intrasquad Blue vs. Gold meet on Sept. 27 and the program's Alumnae Meet on Oct. 5, both at the Student Recreation Center Pool.

The Rockets finished 4-4 (2-3 MAC) in dual-meet competition in 2023-24.
