The Toledo Athletic Department invites employers to connect with current student-athletes for present and/or future professional opportunities
TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo Athletic Department will host its second annual "Rockets Rise: Networking & NIL Night" for employers to connect with current student-athletes on potential opportunities and employment on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Savage Arena.
"Rockets Rise: Networking & NIL Night" will provide current student-athletes the opportunity to network with employers and discuss potential opportunities in the following areas: internships, mentorships, Name Image Likeness (NIL), part-time, and full-time employment.
Who Are We Looking For?
Employers and companies across different industries offering a wide range of opportunities for student-athletes, catering to their diverse career goals and aspirations, are encouraged to participate.
The Toledo Athletic Department encourages participation even if there is no immediate internship or job opportunities. This event will benefit the student-athletes as they explore various career paths and seek valuable networking experiences, and employers can identify potential talent for future partnerships. This event will also offer a unique opportunity to engage with student-athletes in Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) activities. This will allow employers to discuss potential collaborations and partnerships, providing student-athletes with valuable insight as all parties navigate the evolving NIL landscape.
Timeline of the Event
Employers and companies will check in at 5:00 p.m. to set up their tables, and the event will be open for the students from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Registration Information
The deadline to register for "Rockets Rise: Networking & NIL Night" is Jan. 25, 2025. Once registration and payment are complete, a confirmation will be sent out with additional details. Register online at https://app.utrockets.com/rocketsrise
Early registration is $115 per company until Dec. 31, 2024. On Jan. 1, 2025, registration price will increase to $130. Employers are welcome to bring up to (2) representatives per company.
Note: Please only pay registration one time per company, even if two representatives are attending from the same company.
