TOLEDO, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced today that the University of Toledo men's basketball game at Akron has been selected to air nationally on ESPN2. The announcement will move the game from Saturday, Feb. 3 to Friday, Feb. 2 with a tip-off time set for 9:00 p.m. in James A. Rhodes Arena.
The Rockets (10-6, 4-0 MAC) are currently tied for first place in the MAC with the Zips and Western Michigan, and will be back in action in Savage Arena on Tuesday, Jan. 16 vs. Buffalo. The contest will be streamed on ESPN+.
The matchup against the Zips will be the Rockets' fifth game to be nationally televised this season. Toledo's first three MAC contests were each on national TV, and UT's game at Central Michigan on Friday, Jan. 19 will be shown on the CBS Sports Network.
