TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo Athletics today announced several menu updates and upgrades to concessions that will be sure to satisfy the taste buds of Rocket fans by providing a greater variety of food options, shorter lines and "pocket-friendly" pricing at the Glass Bowl in 2023.  
 
"Our goal is to enhance the experience our fans have at the Glass Bowl by providing quality food offerings at reasonable prices," said Vice President and Athletic Director Bryan B. Blair. "We also have made some improvements that will make it easier for our fans to get their food more quickly so that they can enjoy the action on the field."
 
Among the upgrades and improvements are:

• "Pocket Friendly" pricing with all items $5 or less at permanent concession stands
• "Rocket Value Combo" meals (hot dog, chips, bottled beverage) for $7 
• Special "Rocket Hour" pre-game pricing. $2 off the following items from when the Glass Bowl gates open 90 minutes before kickoff until game time: alcoholic beverages, hot dogs, popcorn, bagged chips, bottled beverages at the four permanent stands -- TOL Takeout, EDO Eats, Space 419, Rocket Refuel and the Beer Trailer.
• More portable stands with specialty foods and desserts
• Increased total number of points-of-sale to improve fan wait times
• Mobile ordering with designated pickup lines. Fans have the option of ordering their game day food on their smart phone from their seat, so they don't miss a minute of the action. Ordering is available at: toledorockets.ordernext.com

Some of the food offerings that will be available at concession stands and stadium concourses are:

• Domino's Pizza
• Big C's BBQ
• Nine new portable stands with a special variety of food and desserts, including Turkey Leg, Philly Steak, Walking Taco, Wings, Desserts, Smashed Cinnamon Rolls
• Specialty food trucks 
• Beer trailer will be offering domestic and craft beer options 
• West & East Market stands 

In addition, each of the four permanent concession stands will now be branded as follows:

• T-O-L Takeout (Northwest corner/section 5 & 6)  
• E-D-O Eats (Southwest corner/section 9)
• Space 419 (Southeast corner/section 21)
• Rocket Refuel (Northeast corner/section 23)

The Rockets open their 2023 home season with four consecutive Saturday games in the Glass Bowl beginning with "The Biggest Party in Toledo" vs. Texas Southern on Sept. 9.
