SANTORINI, Greece – The Toledo women's basketball team said goodbye to Athens on Thursday and flew to the island of Santorini to continue its foreign trip.

After enjoying one final breakfast at the hotel in Athens, Toledo headed to the airport to catch its flights to Santorini. The island is approximately 120 miles from mainland Greece, and after a short flight the travel party arrived to their respective hotels. A free afternoon was followed by a group dinner at the hotel before loading up the buses to head to Fira to shop, explore, and enjoy Santorini's capital city.

"The pool here is definitely the nicest pool we've been to so far," Sophia Wiard said. "It was warm today so it was nice to get some pool time once we got here. I'm excited to go back to Fira to try some of the food there. Getting to walk around and see the city tonight was awesome."

The travel party will enjoy another boating day on Friday before returning to Fira in the evening for dinner.
