TOLEDO, Ohio –  The Blarney Irish Pub (601 Monroe St.) will host Toledo's Official NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament First Round Watch Party on Saturday, March 18.

The No. 12 seed Rockets (28-4) will face No. 5 seed Iowa State (22-9) in the first round on Saturday at Thompson-Boling Arena on the campus of the University of Tennessee. The game will tip off at approximately 3:30 p.m. on ESPN2, 30 minutes following the conclusion of the 1:00 p.m. game between No. 4 seed Tennessee and No. 13 seed Saint Louis.

The watch party at The Blarney will begin at 3:00 p.m. and will feature prizes and food and drink specials for fans to enjoy. With it being St. Patrick's Day weekend, fans are encouraged to arrive early.

Toledo, which has won a school record-tying 16 straight games, is making its ninth NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and the first since 2017. The Rockets earned their tournament berth after defeating arch-rival Bowling Green in last weekend's MAC Tournament Championship Game, 73-58.
