TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo's Madison Giglio, Kennedy Lovell, and Lauren Kilgore were recognized for their outstanding performances in the pool and in the classroom on Tuesday when the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2022-23 Academic All-District Women's Swimming & Diving Team.

The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes by their academic achievements and athletic accomplishments. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 and have competed in at least 50 percent of the team's meets.

Those honored as Academic All-District move onto the ballot for CSC Academic All-America Team honors, which will be announced in March.

Giglio is a junior pursuing a degree in civil engineering with a 3.873 GPA.

Lovell is a senior working towards her master's degree in literature with a 4.00 GPA.

Kilgore holds a 3.902 GPA and is completing her doctorate in pharmacy.
