  • The Rockets have also played road games at James Madison and Gonzaga. Their opponents have played to an 8-2 record so far this season, and the combined .800 winning percentage of UT's opponents ranks among the Top 25 toughest schedules thus far in the nation.
  • Quinesha Lockett had her best game of the season vs. UC, scoring 25 points and grabbing 12 rebounds for her second double-double of the year.
  • Lockett became the third player in school history earlier this season to reach 2,000 career points. She now has 2,041 career points, which ranks sixth among active Division I players and first among all active MAC players.
  • Lockett has been named to preseason watch lists for the following awards: Naismith Women's College Player of the Year Trophy; Wooden Award National Player of the Year; Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award; Ann Meyers Drysdale Award (Nation's Top Shooting Guard).

Last Time Out
Toledo hosted Cincinnati in its home opener on Sunday and fell to the Bearcats, 71-60 at Savage Arena.

It was a tale of two teams to begin the game, as the Bearcats knocked down five of their first seven shots and the Rockets missed six of their first seven to find themselves in an early 14-2 hole. Toledo  found its shooting stroke later in the first half and pulled within two, 23-21, near the midpoint of the second quarter. Cincinnati caught fire from beyond the arc, however, made four consecutive three-pointers to push its lead to 14. UT wasn't able to get within single digits until later in the fourth quarter, but by then the Bearcats had built too much of a lead to overcome.

Quinesha Lockett recorded her second double-double of the young season, scoring a game-high 25 points while grabbing 12 rebounds. Sophia Wiard joined her in double figures, scoring 13 points.

About SMU
SMU is 3-1 entering play this weekend, with its lone defeat coming against No. 5 Colorado last Saturday. The Mustangs have picked up home wins vs. UC Riverside, Alabama State, and Nicholls. SMU has three regulars who average double figures in scoring, including leading scorer Tiara Young (22.8 PPG). Young had a season-high 30 points vs. Colorado.

About North Dakota State
North Dakota State is 2-2 and received votes in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll. Its two losses came against a ranked Creighton squad on Nov. 6 and a road game at Minnesota last week. Elle Evans (10.8 PPG) and Heaven Hamling (10.5 PPG) are NDSU's leading scorers.
