TOLEDO, Ohio – Junior safety Maxen Hook was voted "Ironman of the Game" following his performance in Saturday's 35-33 win vs. Northern Illinois.
Appearing in his first game since the season opener at Illinois, Hook registered five tackles, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup in the win over the Huskies. His forced fumble came on a 2nd-and-goal rush by the Huskies and thwarted a potential NIU scoring drive, a play that proved pivotal in the Rockets' two-point victory.
Rocket fans can vote online each week throughout the football season for the Iron Workers Local Union No. 55 "Ironman of the Game." To vote, check out the Rockets on Twitter after each game and select who you think should be the Ironman of the Game. We ask that fans only vote once per game.
