KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Semra Karaslan, Emily Vining and Madeline Barnes led the way for Toledo on Day Two of the Mid-American Conference Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday.

Karaslan took second in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:19.20 while Vining came in third with a time of 10:28.89 to earn a combined 14 team points. 
Barnes captured fourth place in the pole vault with a high mark of 3.59m.

Sophomore Krystal Clark finished first in the prelims of the 800m with a time of 2:09.03 and freshman Margrett Watt came in fourth with a personal-best time of 2:09.11. Both runners now advance into tomorrow's finals. 

In the 100m hurdles, sophomore Alexia Moehling finished seventh with a PR and all-time top-10 clock at 13.99 to advance to tomorrow's finals. 

Toledo has 38 team points to sit in third place of the 12-team conference meet, two points behind second-place Akron (40).

The Rockets will be back for the third and final day of meet on Saturday. Field events are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and will be followed by running events at 1:30p.m. at Kanley Track.
