TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's swimming and diving team will close out the dual portion of its schedule on Saturday, Feb. 12 at home against Bowling Green. Race time is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the Student Recreation and Pool. The meet will be streamed live on ESPN3 and will be televised locally on BCSN.
Swimming events will be held in Toledo's Student Recreation and Pool, and diving events will be held at Bowling Green's Cooper Pool at the same time.
Last Time Out
Toledo won two events in the 212-88 loss to No. 25 Akron on Jan. 28. Junior
Kennedy Lovell touched first in the 200 freestyle (1:52.70) while sophomore
Madison Giglio reached an NCAA Zone qualifying score and a career-best 268.35 to win the one-meter dive. Also reaching career-best marks against the Zips were freshman
Kassie Gutierrez in the one-meter dive (248.33) and junior
Caroline Wallenborg in the 100IM (1:04.22).
About Bowling Green
Bowling Green split dual meets with Cleveland State and Ohio on Jan. 29. The Falcons edged out the Vikings 239-52 and were beat 182-117 by the Bobcats. Senior Daisy Platts was named Mid-American Conference Swimmer of the Week following five first-place finishes, including swimming the fastest times in the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium at Marshall University for the 100 and 200 backstrokes.
The Falcons won the last meeting with the Rockets, 172-128, on Jan. 22 at Bowling Green.

The Mid-American Conference Championships will be hosted by Bowling Green in two weeks. The championships will be held at Cooper Pool, Wednesday-Saturday Feb. 23-26 in Bowling Green, Ohio.
