TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's golf team will compete in its second tournament of the spring when it travels to Mobile, Ala. for the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 14-15. The tournament will be played at the par-72, 7,212-yard Magnolia Grove Golf Club and opens with a shotgun start Monday at 8 a.m. CT.
The Rockets will be competing against a field that contains three teams ranked in Golfstat's Top 50 - No. 20 Illinois, No. 28 Kent State and No. 49 UAB. Toledo is ranked No. 85 in the rankings and will be joined by five more Top 100 teams - No. 55 Florida State, No. 68 Memphis, No. 77 Southern Miss, No. 81 Kansas State and No. 95 South Alabama. Davidson, Louisiana, Texas State and Western Kentucky are also participating in the event.

Barend Botha shot six-under par to lead the Rockets to a sixth-place finish.
Toledo's lineup in the two-day event will consist of Botha (71.3) at No. 1, sophomore
Jamie Tofte Nielsen (71.7) at No. 2, senior
Lukas Clark (72.7) at No. 3, senior
Max Siegfried (74.4) at No. 4 and junior
NJ Botha (73.2) at No. 5.
Botha and Clark each won all three of their matches last week to lead the Rockets to a second-place showing at the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play Event.
