13 Rockets Named to Academic All-MAC Team

Eight of Toledo's 13 Academic All-MAC honorees were repeat selections.

Mitchell Berg and Nate Bauer make Academic All-MAC for the fourth time

TOLEDO, Ohio - A total of 13 Toledo football players earned spots on the 2022 Academic All-MAC team, the conference office announced on Monday, including eight Rockets who are making at least their second appearance on the Academic All-MAC team.

This is the fourth Academic All-MAC selection for Mitchell Berg and Nate Bauer, the third selection for Nick Rosi, Thomas Cluckey and Zachary Ford, and the second time that Adam Beale, Maxen Hook and Judge Culpepper have made the Academic All-MAC team.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. Student-athletes in their first academic year and transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
