TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's golf team tied for first nationally with seven individuals qualifying for a spot on the 2020-21 Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team.
Sophomores
Amelia Lee (Hilliard, Ohio),
Kathryn Roth (Waterville, Ohio) and
Claudia Sampson (Port Clinton, Ohio) were joined by freshmen
Macy Hanus (Bowling Green, Ohio),
Angel Hii (Kuching, Malaysia),
Cheryl Hong (Kuantan, Malaysia) and Kait Natividad (Yorkville, Ill.) on the squad. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 and student-athletes must have competed in at least 50% (Division I) or 66% (Division II & III) of their college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
